Dele Alli to Be Granted January Exit From Tottenham Out of 'Respect' for Loyalty

Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to let midfielder Dele Alli leave the club in January, with both permanent and loan bids to be considered by the club.

Dele has managed just 66 minutes of Premier League action this season, all of which came in the first three games of the campaign, and he has not even made a matchday squad for a league match since the 6-1 victory over Manchester United in early October.

90min recently revealed that Dele is angling for a move away in January to try and reignite a push for a place in the England squad, and chairman Daniel Levy is now open to the idea of letting the midfielder go.

That has now been echoed by The Telegraph, who note that Levy is prepared to let Dele go in January out of respect for the midfielder's five years of loyal service to the club.

A permanent exit for Dele has not been ruled out, but Levy is not prepared to accept any lower offers and is set to demand that suitors pay his full market price if they wish to sign him. As a 24-year-old, homegrown player with a contract until 2024, that figure could be quite high.

If no buyers come to the table with suitable offers, Levy would entertain the idea of letting Dele leave on loan. A six-month spell elsewhere is possible, but 90min understands that an 18-month loan is also an option.

In terms of potential landing spots, Dele has attracted interest from a number of Premier League sides, although Spurs are reluctant to sanction such a move and strengthen a direct rival during their pursuit of the league title.

A move to mainland Europe seems more likely. French duo Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco have both registered their interest, while Inter and AC Milan are among the sides considering bringing Dele to Italy.

It is expected that Dele will entertain any proposals as he is keen to leave and prove himself in the build-up to next summer's European Championships.

The Englishman has not played for his country since the UEFA Nations League finals in the summer of 2019, with the emergence of Mason Mount, Phil Foden and Jack Grealish contributing to his drop in Gareth Southgate's pecking order.
