Frank Poses In Oder To Display His Sublime Diplomatic Skills.

If that is not breach of contract, then the law is indeed an ass.

This has led to Spurs releasing the following statement.

“In response to the publication of photographs of Frank Arnesen on Roman Abramovich’s yacht, the Club has issued the following statement:

'Having seen the photo, we have contacted Chelsea and set a deadline for the matter to be resolved. If we do not receive a satisfactory agreement by noon on Friday, we shall be making a formal complaint to the FAPL and looking to exercise other potential options'.”

It looks like that Chelsea are gambling on the FAPL fine being lower than the compensation Chelsea are offering Spurs.

However there is always the outside possibility that the FAPL might show some backbone & hit them with a 12 point deduction.

Today’s little episode would presumably expose Frank to the possibility of being hit with a 15M breach of contract suit.

Be funny if Daniel was unavailable to take calls right now & all the above came to fruition.

Can’t see it happening myself, but if it did occur, as per the old cliché, “it would be a great day for football”
