Campbell making his comeback from injury seven days ago at Portsmouth, found himself in the wars and had to miss Arsenal's next two games, including tonight's Champions League semi-final first leg against Villarreal, with a broken nose!
Cole is expected to return for their reserves this evening, and as long as he can avoid getting another injury, he could also be included for the vital derby clash at the weekend. Arsene Wenger probably isn't holding onto his breath though, after the last time Cole made a comeback in the reserves. The full back broke down after just seven minutes against Tottenham in February, and hasn't played since.
Following Arsenal's 1-1 draw at Portsmouth, Wenger admitted: "I feel we already had one eye on the game on Wednesday a little bit."
Defender Johan Djourou added: "Everyone was disappointed because we should have won the game. It was a big blow."
