Harry Kane extends remarkable Premier League scoring record in Leeds win

To bag even one goal in the Premier League is impressive, to have 153 of them is simply incredible, but to score against every team you have ever faced in the league? Well, that is something to behold.

Harry Kane become the first player to score against all 30 Premier League teams he has faced after slamming in a penalty in Spurs' 3-0 win over Leeds on Saturday afternoon.

Having previously held the record at 29, Kane has now increased his number to an even 30 Premier League teams that he has slotted past by scoring against Marcelo Bielsa's newly-promoted side at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

However, Kane still has some way to go to reach Frank Lampard's record for scoring against 39 different Premier League teams. The current Blues manager's 39th goal came against former side Chelsea for Manchester City in a 1-1 draw in a memorable match in September 2014.

Lampard failed to score against five Premier League opponents during his career however, never netting against Burnley, Cardiff City, Ipswich Town, QPR or Watford. Kane has already scored against four of those in his Premier League career, while Ipswich Town haven't graced the top flight since 2001/02 and are languishing in League One, making it hard for Kane to complete the set unfortunately.

All the teams in this season's Premier League have already conceded to Kane in their Premier League existence, so Kane will have to wait until the newly-promoted Championship clubs join Spurs in the 2021/22 season to extend his record even further.

With his form and consistency, there is certainly no betting against Kane continuing the record for as long as he is playing at the top level, and as long as sides he hasn't already scored against are promoted to the top flight.

Who will be number 31? Time will tell...
