Tottenham star Harry Kane has revealed that his on-pitch relationship with strike partner Son Heung-min has strengthened as a result of their friendship off it.
Kane endured a rather miserable start to the season, scoring just one goal in his opening 13 Premier League games.
However, he has returned to form in 2022, forming a formidable attacking trio with Son and January signing Dejan Kulusevski.
Kane and Son broke the Premier League record for most goals scored with the other assisting earlier this season. The England captain spoke to Canal+ about his special relationship with the South Korean and was asked whether his wife is jealous of it.
"Maybe. She hasn’t said anything but I’m sure she could be. I probably spend more time with Son than I do with my wife at the moment, to be honest. But yeah we have a great relationship off the pitch and obviously I think that shows on the pitch as well," Kane admitted.
These comments came a few days prior to Spurs' disappointing 1-0 loss at home to Brighton on Saturday, with Antonio Conte's side missing the chance to move six points clear of their top-four rivals.
However, a return to the Champions League remains in their own hands. They return to action away at in-form Brentford next week.
