Harry Kane to promote mental health charity 'Shout' with Leyton Orient kit sponsorship

League Two side Leyton Orient have confirmed that Harry Kane will sponsor their third kit for the 2022/23 season, highlighting mental health charity 'Shout' with the sponsorship.

This is the third year in which Kane has sponsored Leyton Orient - the club where he made his senior debut back in 2011 - with the player previously highlighting 'Thank You Frontline Heroes' and 'Tommy Club'.

This season Kane will spotlight the United Kingdom's only free, confidential, 24/7 text support service for mental health. Since its launch in 2019, 'Shout' has had 1.3 million conversations with people in need of immediate mental health support, and has 2,500 trained volunteers.

Speaking to Leyton Orient's official website, Kane stated that he hopes the sponsorship will give the charity the platform it needs:

"I am thrilled to be sponsoring Leyton Orient’s kits for a third season. I was born only a couple of miles from Orient’s stadium and am really happy to give back to the Club that gave me my first professional start.

"I am pleased to welcome Shout to this partnership. Covid has presented many challenges, and these have affected the mental health and wellbeing of many people. Shout provide a vital helpline and resources to the public, helping to positively improve mental health and wellbeing.

"The special charities I have chosen for the front of shirts all mean a lot to me, and I hope this platform will help them receive the exposure and support they need."
