Harry Kane wins Premier League Player of the Month award for March

Tottenham striker Harry Kane has won Premier League Player of the Month for a record-equalling seventh time thanks to his impressive performances throughout March.

Kane has moved ahead of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard to go level with ex-Manchester City star Sergio Aguero at joint top of the all-time monthly award standings.

The England captain won his first two Premier League Player of the Month awards back-to-back at the start of 2015. But his most recent was as far back as December 2017.

He scored four Premier League goals in March and registered a further two assists as Spurs took nine points from a possible 12 by beating Everton, Brighton and West Ham.

Kane is the first Tottenham player to win the monthly award since Son Heung-min in October 2020.
