Tottenhamhotspur-mad understands that the club have agreed a fee with Espanyol for Cameroon international Carlos Kameni.

Juande Ramos has been scouring Europe for a replacement for Paul Robinson and appears to have identified his number one target. The former England number one has endured a torrid season at the club and Ramos is believed to be willing to offload him.

Kameni has made 32 appearances for Cameroon and was voted Africa's Best Goalkeeper last year. His impressive form has caught the eye of a number of British clubs with the likes of Aston Villa and Middlesbrough likely to provide Ramos with competition for the 24-year-olds signature.
