Paul Konchesky has been recalled by Charlton Athletic boss Alan Curbishley in the midst of a defensive crisis at the Valley. Konchesky, who made 15 appearances for Spurs since his loan move in September admitted that a return to Charlton would be 'horrible'. However, he may now have to face his Spurs team-mates in the forthcoming fixture on December 28th.

Spurs have also recalled two of their own players from loan spells; Johnnie Jackson from Coventry City and Stephen Kelly from Watford. Jackson made just five appearances for the 'Sky Blues', scoring twice, while Kelly made 13 impressive performances for the Hornets.
