Lack of European football not a problem for Van Bommel

Karel Jansen, the agent of PSV Eindhoven's midfielder Mark Van Bommel who has been heavily linked with Spurs has stated that a lack of European football would not prevent a move. Janses admitted that Spurs not reaching the UEFA Cup would not stop van Bommel making the switch to White Hart Lane. He said, "It doesn't matter too much that Spurs are unlikely to be in Europe.
