Mido To Return For Forest Game.

We went into Saturday’s game against WBA full of confidence following on from an excellent performance against Pompey.

More of the same was on the cards or so we thought but for some inexplicable reason Martin opted for a 4 3 3 formation which inevitably transpired to hand control of the game to a gratefull if somewhat astonished WBA, not quite as astonished as the Spurs fans I grant you, but a close second.

The next 40 mins proceeded to become the Paul Robinson show as he single handley kept us in the game until his opposite number miss judged a cross and ended up flattening Stephen Kelly leaving the ref with no choice other than to award a penalty.

2nd Half saw the withdrawal of Keane in favor of Davies and a reversion to the trusty 4 4 2 formation, which was immediately effective to such an extent that Robinson didn’t have a save worthy of the name to make in the 2nd half.

So hopefully there will be no more “little surprises” awaiting us on Sunday, so the team should be probably pretty much the same with the exceptions of Mido in for Kanoute & Keane to replace Defoe.

Who knows, I might even be able to enjoy my half time beer this time!
