Excerpt from the Chairman’s statement, which accompanied the annual announcement of the club’s financial results to the Stock Exchange:
The ever-increasing support for the club has resulted in the number of memberships and season ticket holders reaching levels unseen previously at the club. However, it remains a challenge for us to ensure that members and a new generation of fans are able to experience the club and we have therefore taken the decision to cap season tickets at a level that enables a guaranteed float of individual match tickets to supporters.
