PSG monitoring Hugo Lloris as Tottenham consider two potential replacements

Tottenham are said to be in a fight to keep hold of Hugo Lloris, with Mauricio Pochettino keen to make the France keeper one of his early signings when he takes the reins at Paris Saint-Germain.

It is claimed Spurs would turn to either Manchester United's Dean Henderson of West Brom's Sam Johnstone as they look for a homegrown alternative to their experienced stopper, were he to leave.

Former Spurs boss Pochettino, a PSG captain as a player, is widely expected to replace Thomas Tuchel in the early stages of 2021, and reports have spread like wildfire suggesting Tottenham players of past and present are queuing up for a reunion with the Argentine.

Dele Alli has been heavily linked with a loan move to Paris, as has Inter's Christian Eriksen, who is surplus to requirements at San Siro.

Now, it's being claimed that a move for 34-year-old Lloris could be on the cards. It appears to stem from a throwaway line by Eurosport earlier this week which claimed that Lloris - along with Serge Aurier and Harry Winks - is being looked at by the Parisian side.

The Sun and others have picked up on it since and a new report on Friday names Henderson and Johnstone as Spurs' contingency plans if they find themselves in need of a new keeper.

West Brom's Johnstone has been in fine form for the Baggies this term, having helped them win promotion last term, and the 27-year-old, who was on the books at Manchester United as a youngster, is eyeing a place in the England squad for the Euros this summer.

As is Henderson, who has made three Premier League appearances for United this season as he fights with David De Gea for the gloves at Old Trafford.

Spurs may also be in the market for a replacement for Dele Alli as 90min understand he is keen to leave in the current transfer window. The out-of-favour midfielder doesn't see eye to eye with Jose Mourinho, who is thought to be keen on offloading him to make way for Marcel Sabitzer or Marten de Roon.
