Push comes to shove for Spurs

Dawson said: "I could only dream about playing in games of such importance as this. I got a few goals at Forest in my time there and I had a few chances to score on Monday so I was disappointed not to see one of them hit the back of the net."

Tottenham captain Ledley King of course scored the only goal of the first half, before Robert Pires's late leveller when Arsenal visited White Hart Lane in October. Keane was only on the bench then, and if that gets repeated tomorrow, then Paul Robinson or maybe even Dawson would skipper the side, with King ruled out for the last three games.

Dawson added: "We showed them what we can do when they came to us."

The reverse back to back fixtures against Manchester United and Arsenal (both 1-1 draws) earlier in the season was only Aaron Lennon's fifth and sixth Premiership start of his career.

The 19-year-old said: "I don't think we've feared anyone this season and have put up a fight in every game."
