Tottenham Hotspur shareholders have today voted in favour of chairman Daniel Levy's plans for the raising of finances to be used for transfers. The scheme had been placed into doubt after a number of shareholders had attempted to block it, claiming that the lay out of the deal was unfair to shareholders with lesser hodings, and that ENIC was accused of trying to acquire a majority stake at a knockdown price. The opponents had included Birmingham City owner David Sullivan a nu,ber of high-flying London businessmen such as Johnny Green and Mike Sherwood. However, their best laid plans have been scuppered so now all it leaves is for Daniel Levy to show the colour of his money.
