Tottenham forward Son Heung-min left the South Korea squad early to catch a flight back to London on Tuesday, with Spurs keen to have their forward back in good time ahead of Saturday's tussle with Manchester City.
Son had been away with his national squad, and started the friendly match against Qatar on Tuesday. South Korea went on to win the game 2-1, with Son grabbing himself an assist.
But with Spurs taking on Manchester City in a crucial Premier League game on Saturday they took the decision to send a private jet to pick him up not long after the friendly game with Qatar had finished, according to Goal.
