Manchester City were the fourth in a line of visitors who have come close to taking something from White Hart Lane, although in the end only Wigan have taken a point since Spurs comfortably beat Charlton at the beginning of February.
The Spurs coach said: "Our attitude and application were just about 100 per cent but I'm still not satisfied with having to dig out results."
