Spurs move for Amauri as QPR eye Jermain Defoe

Reports in Italy and Brazil suggest that Brazilian-born Italian international Amauri, aged 31, could be on his way to the Premier League after a fall-out with coach Antonio Conte.

On the move: Amauri has fallen out of favour at Juventus

Amauri's agent Ernesto Bronzetti has confirmed the striker is poised to snub interest from Italian siders Genoa and Palermo to join an English club in the January transfer window.

And that could pave the way for Defoe to join London rivals QPR.
