Spurs show interest in Tasci

Tasci was linked with a move to White Hart Lane last summer and reports are suggesting Harry Redknapp retains an interest in the 24-year-old.

Redknapp is rumoured to be in the market for a new centre-half ahead of next season and has been heavily linked with a swoop for Bolton Wanderers defender Gary Cahill.

However, Tasci could also be an option for Redknapp amid suggestions he is ready to quit Stuttgart following the club's disappointing last season in the Bundesliga.

He is rated in the ?12million bracket and is also wanted by the likes of Juventus, Lazio and Malaga, having been linked with Spurs' arch rivals Arsenal 12 months ago.

His representative Maurizio Gaudino revealed there has been further Premier League interest, but says no talks have taken place with Stuttgart.

"Tottenham and two other English clubs are keen on Serdar," said Gaudino in The Sun.

"No discussions are yet under way, but it's down to the interested clubs to speak with Stuttgart and myself."
