Following his move from Nottingham Forest he made a handful of games in the first half of 2005. This season he's settled into the Tottenham side as regular central defensive partner to Ledley King.
Although Dawson will have learned a lot from Moroccan teammate Nourredine Naybet, for most of the season the young Englishman has kept one of the more senior members of the squad from featuring in the first team.
