Ledley King said: "We've had good results against them (Newcastle) in the last few games. We got a great 1-0 win up there last season and, even though a lot of our players from then have left, we beat them 2-0 at home this season."

As well as King the only survivors from the last visit to Newcastle are England teammates Paul Robinson and Jermain Defoe, while Jermaine Jenas was the home team's starting line-up. The midfielder joined Spurs after claiming life at the club resembled living inside a goldfish bowl.

"This season has been great. Before for a lot of us at this time of year there had not been so much to play for," King added.

"Newcastle was an enjoyable part of my life yet something just didn't quite click there, but that is in my past," said Jenas.
