Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be the favourites to land Queens Park Rangers star Ebere Eze once the summer transfer window opens.
The 21-year-old midfielder has been one of the Championship's standout performers, racking up 12 goals and eight assists for an otherwise unspectacular QPR side to keep them around the middle of the table.

Obviously, his status as a young, talented Englishman has sent the rumour mill into a frenzy. Plenty of sides have been tipped to push for Eze, but The Sun state that it is Spurs who are leading the race for his signature.
Eze was high on former boss Mauricio Pochettino's wish list as well, and it appears as though José Mourinho is just as keen.
Top scout Brian Carey went specifically to watch Eze in QPR's recent 3-1 win over Preston North End, and he will have been delighted to see the 21-year-old come away with another goal and an assist.
A £20m price tag has been suggested, which is said to have already put off Sheffield United and Crystal Palace, but Spurs are prepared to pay up as they recognise their need for more midfield depth.
Chelsea, Leicester City and West Ham United were also linked with Eze in the January transfer window, so Spurs may not have a clear run at signing him, but it appears as though they have a good chance of getting the deal done.
Given Eze will enter the final year of his contract this summer, QPR are aware that they will probably have to let him go, so it wouldn't come as a surprise to see that £20m figure drop down slightly as clubs try and negotiate a discount - we all know how much Spurs love saving money.

Eze would give Mourinho a fresh option in midfield, a department which the boss has been less than happy with in recent weeks.
He has taken plenty of not-so-subtle digs at record signing Tanguy Ndombele's perceived lack of effort, so it would hardly come as a surprise to see Mourinho push for a new signing once the summer transfer window opens.
