Tottenhams Harry Kane admits catching Leicester unlikely after West Brom draw

Mauricio Pochettino's side were held to a 1-1 draw by the Baggies at White Hart Lane as Craig Dawson cancelled out his first-half own-goal to leave Spurs seven points adrift in the race at the top.

Leicester need only three points from their three remaining matches to be crowned champions, meaning Claudio Ranieri's men can complete their fairytale season with a win at Manchester United on Sunday.

"Is it over? I don't think so, there's still three games left," Kane said.

"If they lose the next game you just never know the pressure

It makes it a lot, lot harder now we haven't won

It's not in our hands, it's in Leicester's hands.

"They'd have to lose two and draw one and we'd have to win all three

It's not impossible but it looks unlikely the way their season has gone so far.

"But we can't control them, we haven't been able to control them for the last few weeks

They've been doing their job, as have we, it's just a shame we didn't get the three points."

Tottenham play Chelsea a day after the Foxes' trip to Old Trafford and the Blues have made it clear they would like nothing more than to end to their London rivals' challenge.

Chelsea fans chanted about beating Spurs during their win over Bournemouth on Saturday while Eden Hazard said after the game he wanted Leicester to win the league.

"There's nothing we can do about that," Kane said.

"There are a lot of neutrals who want Leicester to go on and win it for one reason or another

We feel we're one of the best teams in this league, we can't control what other teams or managers do.

"That isn't down to us, that's their point of view, what they say is down to them.

"There have obviously been a few comments from managers and players saying they want Leicester to win but we've just got to go out there and do our job."

West Brom thwarted their opponents with a typically dogged performance, snapping at Tottenham's heels and making the most of any advantage they could find.

Dele Alli's frustration boiled over when he punched Claudio Yacob in the stomach and the Spurs midfielder could face a retrospective three-match ban if found guilty of violent conduct.

Yacob exchanged words with his opponent moments after the incident but was in no mood to complain after the match.

"Somebody told me something happened but I don't remember," Yacob said

"If that happened it just stays on the pitch."

Kane, however, believes opponents' provocation is something Tottenham will have to get used to.

"Teams at the other end of the table want to come here and get a result even if it's a point," Kane said.

"They want to waste time, get in front of the referee, but that's football

"We have to cope with that

It's about experience, we're a young side and that's what we've got to learn from."
