"Am I the only one to be totally gutted by the team's performance at Leicester?
The opportunity to finish a healthy 7th in the Premiership was in their hands but they blew it.

Time and time again this season I've seen them roll over or simply fade away in the latter stages of a game, what gives? Is it simply that they are a load of overated has-beens and neverwases or that they lack the stomach or the determination to make their mark in the top flight?

The Worthington Cup Final was a typical example of this bottleless approach to games... if you can't get some adrenalin pumping round your system at the thought of playing in a major cup final you should'nt be wearing the shirt. I just hope Glenn gets some new blood in who will fight tooth and nail for every ball and really have their hearts behind the Tottenham cause"

Good call Lee, the team have simply under-performed in too many games this season - games that should have been won have not and many points have been lost. Whether the players aren't willing enough, or simply don't have the talent is another question for another day.

We need to get Eto'o and 2 other players if we have any chance of breaking into the top 6 next season.

There has been alot of speculation about Eto'o recently, but from what I saw of him at during the World Cup, yeah ok he has loads of skill etc but we he get us 20 odd goals a season?? I still belive that the midfield, despite 2 signings in this department already needs more strengthening, with a dominant midfielder needed.

What about ENRICO CHIESA(fw-17 caps, 7 goals) from Fiorentina(Italy)? The
club is in desperate need for cash, and this player begun last season
tremendously until he got injured. However, there is no doubt in my mind
that he's our guy- definately capable of scoring more than 20 goals; within
the box, from the spot or long-range free kicks!

Another name trown into the hat!! There is no doubting that Chiesa is an excellent player from what I have seen over the years on Italian Football highlights, but whether or not he is the answer to the striking problems is another question.

He ain't getting any younger and so wether he would have the desire for Spurs is debatable.

If anything I would rather have his striking parter at Fiorentina, Numo Gomes if I had to choose between the 2. Alot younger, alot of pace and probably more suited to the Premiership.
